Empowering youth to Make Safer Choices

The Safe Steps Forward program is an engaging, age-appropriate program designed to teach children and youth critical safety skills and promote non-violence in our communities. Through interactive activities, real-life scenarios, and guided discussions, students learn how to recognize dangerous situations, make smart decisions, and protect themselves and others.

Each session includes:

• The Gun Safety Handbook an illustrated, easy-to-understand guide for continued learning at home that is essential to reinforcing the gun safety principles.
• Conflict Resolution Handbook- Tactics and ways to deescalate conflict that lead to violence.
• Tactical Framework- An engaging work book that engages depth on conflict resolution.
• Facilitator Guide for Educators- A guide for teacher to creativity talk to students on challenging conflict resolution and safety discussions.
• Hands-On Activities – role-playing and problem-solving exercises that reinforce lessons in a fun, memorable way
• Safe Steps Heroes Certificate – recognizing each child’s commitment to safety and community responsibility
• Parent reinforcement guides- for parents to discuss educational practices with their kids 
• Engagement Surveys- For data ,feedback, program efficacy and review.
• Educator led Discussion Prompts
• In Class Presentations
